First the toe..then the hip..now it's time for a dip!

hello out there....

a pretty good day so far.  Being lazy....and really kinda liking it!  maybe too much?  nah.....

Our trip to San Fran was fantabulous!  must say, the excitement and my eyes were wide open the entire time absorbing it all!  Last Saturday we had tickets to the Walt Disney Family Museum that had just opened up.  It was wonderful!  A big giant building filled like a scrapbook of Walt Disney's life.  Very interesting the behind the scenes details, and how is creative head worked....intriguing.  I don't think his brain ever shut off.

While there a little child was also intrigued and pulled the fire alarm.  Very interesting in deed!  I was very quick to declare to all that it was not me!!!!  no guilty party here!  we were evacuated and got the pleasure of a great show from the San Fran Fire Dept and paramedics when they arrived for the all clear....love me a man on a big red truck!  just saying!  took lots of pics!  hee hee hee! 

After we were cleared to enter the building again...the stalker in me came out, as I overheard a lovely lady with a big black prada bag, black cashmere sweater, white jeans, and delicate black shoes (did I tell you stalker mode?) introduce herself to the fire alarm pulling kid's family as "the Diane".  Well hello!!!!!  I was reading the quotes, I was reading the family informtion and was so on it with the detail.....so stalker alert I signaled my friend Tashia and we were after her!  She might be a bit older, but boy she can move fast!  followed her to the very bottom and couldn't go anymore......we were then approached by an employee in a purple blazer  :) so had to ask....and a simple "yes" was my answer!  Dang I wanted to talk to her too!  I would have asked where her daddy is at!  :)

The marathon was amazing.  Now you all know I don't believe in the "E" word.  Well there were 20,000 who did apparently.  I have never been to something like this.  Simply amazing!  I saw Tashia twice....mile marker 4 and at the end!  Got some great pics!  And so darn proud of her! 

But have to say the highlight was the Burger Bar!  Just opened 3 days prior....you pick and choose to build your own burger!  the best ever!  Or maybe I was just really hungry?  no it was pretty damn ass good if you ask me!!!!!  didn't leave anything on my plate! 

we visited with my aunt and uncle monday morning on the way home!  Good food, good laughs....nice!  and of course a plateful of brownies!  I don't normally do brownies...these are the best ever!  stopped and shopped on the way home, and went to the apple farm!  Great times indeed!  Over too soon!  We will need to go back that is for sure!  There is a cable car with my name on it!  A dollar I need to give to a homeless man!  and of course a burger to be devoured!

happenings in San Fran with Ginger.....

we made it to san fran yesterday afternoon!  great adventures.....

scary foster freeze....hungry, and have to pee?  don't stop at the foster freeze on hwy 5 at the apricot tree inn.....just saying  :) 

driving through gilroy, which has really grown since we were here last in 2006....so much so that hello!!!!!  there is a sonic!  in gilroy!  seriously!  had to flip it!  needed the fix!  :)  think auntie barbara and uncle squirrelly will want to have breakfast there on monday?

found our way to scrapbook island!  love love love this store!  full!  every nook and cranny!  fun times in deed!  found some pretty paper, found some hazard for mom.....life is good!  man with bad teeth told us how to take the scenic way to san fran on 280.....just saying...bad teeth!  too young to be all in our business and have bad teeth! 

saw two deer!  right there alive on the side of the freeway!  coolio stuff!  a daddy and his woman....then we made it to san fran!

okay last time I was here I kid you not was when I was about 12.....and we weren't in this part of san fran!  union square.....wowzers!  I saw me a pimp daddy, a hooker, and a he/she!  so darn excited!  And today I have to find this homeless man again with this sign....cracked me up!  and will give a dollar for a pic....Sign says "F*** you...Give me a dollar".....classic or what?????

today I am up and ready to go!  disney museum, scrapbook store in berkeley, a cable car ride (squeal...Tashia says I can't hang off the side though...I will fall off!), and fisherman's wharf!

another bites the dust....

another scrapbook expo that is! It is official....at 6 pm Saturday, October 10th we were done with 2009 expos....and start prepping for 2010!

Thanks to all my wonderful friends that gave up their weekends to come and help, setup, cut, ring, help in the classroom....and of course teardown!  we have got to be the quickest teardown around!  thank you thank you thank you!  and also thank you for the endless laughs, talks and  catching up with all of you!  And Jenn....your little one makes me laugh!

the expo was a grand time!  went really fast!  everyone loved the classes...woo hoo!  we were so fortunate to get a really gooooooodddd booth!  so much so that we were about to have 14 feet of ribbon!  oh yes baby!!!!  a girl has to love her ribbon!

this month is just go go go for me!  No sooner have we unloaded, that I needed to focus on a report for work!  which needless to say was completed on time!  :)  and now I am getting ready to head to san fran for the weekend! 

I haven't been since I would say when I was 12 maybe?  so darn excited!  Going to cheer on my friend Tashia in the Nike Marathon!  and on Saturday we are going to the Disney Family Museum that just opened in August!  can we say super duper excited?  maps to local scrapbook stores too!  gotta love me some stores!  the wharf, the views....minimal bridges we hope!  fingers crossed!  coming home and staying in Morgan Hill on Sunday night, and breakfast with my fav aunt and uncle on Monday before we head out!  good times indeed!  can't wait!

and on the 24th another class with me at Scrappin in the Hills!  Travel theme!  pages done, and mom getting all the items in place for another fun fun day!

It's been a while.  Sorry!  No really I am.  It has just been super duper over the top busy crazy lately.  When I hit the last of summer, and the end of the year it is always crazy.  Granted I know it is not an excuse....but it is what it is.....I could blame it on:

1.  Typepad is blocked at work

2.  Been busy planning events

3.  Been busy creating...lol

but I think I am going with need to say no, and read a calendar better!  :)

so going to try and write something everyday or every other day at least to get everyone caught up with me...sound fair????

where is the time going....

this year is just going in lightning speed.....can't figure out where the time is going.  Is it just me?

Leaving in a little over a week for CE.  so excited, hope to relax....hope to shop at hobby lobby, rufflers roost, and of course the barn and scrapbooks etc.....I don't need anything....but really do enjoy looking...  :)  I have taken a vow to not buy paper....unless it is for research.....I did pretty well with it last year, so fingers crossed this year will be a good thing!

have a class today.....critter country!  cute layouts....lots of pieces to be put together though.  Hope they like, and don't mind the pieces....try to do something new every class...boy that gets hard sometimes!  so we will see!

have to have to have to work on layouts tomorrow....do you hear that?  have to!  classes in september, expo classes....and even beyond!  I looked at my calendar yesterday for something I forget what now....and wowzers!  september through november I hope to be abel to breathe at least once!  Oh I remember....I want to go and hide away at a hotel just me myself and I.....and create....never come out of my jammies.....be like a cavewoman in modern times.....delivery never have to leave.....well a girl can dream right?

got new glasses yesterday!  stronger prescriptions....after 2 hours huge headache.....move my head real fast to the left or right.....and whoa......get dizzy!  lol!  should be a fun day in class today!  lol!  I treated myself while at the doc's office to a new giraffe purse....squeal!  steinmart is in the same shopping center.....can I just say I wanted to go back to work and change out my purse right then and there.....

as I am going to do a pity party...wait not a pity party post....but pulling up my big girl panties and becoming what some will be shocked to know....a mean person!

yes that is right.  I cried earlier....I will admit it.  I felt used, I felt betrayed, and you know what...I even felt like our friendship really wasn't a friendship.;..but a way to use me, use my business, and you know what...it sucks.

there I said it.  I am a person that when I make a commitment, I stick to it.  If I can't I let someone know right away.  I don't wait for the other person to email me to see if still a go....still on for plans made over two months ago....but yet I have done that, emailed someone repeatedly month after month in regards to their commitments made.....only to get the brush off, non-reponse..or a response less than 24 hours prior and as if no big deal.

well it hurts.  I won't lie.  I work hard.  I am a people pleaser.  I always go out of my way to ensure that everyone has a good time, that things are there for the taking etc.

well guess what......no more.  You are making become mean....for those that are wonderful and nice I am sorry that I will be mean in the future.  I don't want to be mean.  But the wall has been raised...and it will take a while to get it lowered, to get it back to the way it was....if it ever gets to the way it was....

Gosh sometimes I feel like my life is just one big recap!  lol!

Doing okay, well hoping I am still doing okay might be a better analogy.  I have a new drug.....and wowzers it is strong, it makes the simpliest things out of control!  Seriously out of control!  dry mouth, hyper-like, and peeing like a racehorse!  Too much info for ya?

Adding new things this morning to the website!  Teresa stuff, new thickers, new imaginisce, new dream street.....trying to get some things back in control!

working on some inspiration unlimited album ideas with my girl bucket!  she is amazing!  Walked around Disneyland with her and friends for our friend Susie's birthday....what fun that was!  But I could just see the ideas flowing....it was really coolio!  and of course no paper and pen to write the ideas down!!!!  so watch out....going by memory!  lol!

Disneyland was so much fun!  I love going with adults....you can be a kid if you want!  no crying, no fussing, no strollers!  no carrying anyone!  lol!  lots of fun, lots of laughs!  and of course lots of pics!  a trip to disneyland with 4 scrappers....what does that tell ya?

wondering how I am doing with my creative list?  still plugging along!  Have a class next Saturday....then a class in September!  I have two of the september layouts done already....woo hoo!  so need to do 4 more there, and then work on October.  Also need to crank out expo classes!!!!!  ideas are in the head..just need to flow on paper!  going to CE at the end of August and need to get mom busy while I am gone!  And since we will be having a crazy busy september....the more done the better!

keeping busy with IU coming at the end of September as well!  we had some peeks this last week!  deadline for registering, hotel room reserving etc coming up!  also the tool and supply list will be ready to go this week!  Fun fun fun stuff!  Labor day weekend looks like planning and sorting, and wrapping prizes is on the agenda!

well back to adding to the website!  Before I mess up anything more!  lol!

just checking in....

the month of july, where did it go?

leaving for CE in a few short weeks....getting excited!  more for the Tim class than anything!  :)  and hanging with the girls!  oh what the heck....shopping!

IU is coming along!  prizes are rolling in!  lots of stuff still to do!  surprises coming in a few short weeks!!!!!  did someone say albums????  just saying.....

Last weekend I kicked buttola!  Did 5 layouts for one class.  1 layout for the following month, and 3/4 of another for that other month as well!  but wait...there is more....

finished my circle journal entry for this month too!  and a month early!  hello sally!  hmmmm....I sure did!    hoping for the same this weekend!  fingers crossed!  need to hunt down supplies first thing saturday morning...then need to finish up one page for august class....work on expo classes.....and work on september classes....and do another circle journal.....oh and need to breathe and enjoy the process!  lol!

and on a final note....had a hamburger...actually a double double at in and out....oh yes I did!  loved it!  could have licked the wrapper!  but didn't  :)

and on another final note....for the crapola a**hole that stole my credit card number and is enjoying is time in France.....bite me!  You are mean....and mean people suck!
